Why did we start this resource?
We’re two creative people who are passionate about family ministry in the United Church of Canada. We love to scour Pinterest and ministry Facebook groups for great ideas for worship and faith formation at home. We also enjoy collaborating on content together, and love sharing what we make with a wider circle. So, we created a place where we could share with others the content we’ve discovered, made, brainstormed and loved all in one place.
Is this resource United Church specific?
You don’t have to be a United Church person to appreciate our content, but our desire to share and make content stems from a need for family ministry material that reflects the theologies of our churches.
We are two women working in UCCan faith communities that are affirming (inclusive of LGBTQ+ folks) and progressive. We are committed life-giving theologies of liberation and love. We try to explore scripture with an open mind and honour the many different ways humanity can experience God. We love Jesus and we respect the ways you love him too.
